In this video, M. R. Hari shows us a micro Miyawaki forest put up by Mr Cherian Mathew in a one-cent bit of ground in front of his house. It should serve as a model to all because of the multiple benefits it yields. There are various types of vegetable-, fruit- and medicinal plants growing in a robust manner. Besides, there are sandal, red sandal and camphor trees whose high value in the market is well known. Over and above all this is the fact that in a couple of years’ time, the micro forest will provide a green cover, protecting the house from the pollution of the city, and also make the air cool, inside and outside the house.
