This is a Miyawaki-model forest being raised for Kerala Forests and Wildlife Department, Government of Kerala on the banks of Neyyar Reservoir near Neyyar Wildlife Sanctuary in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. In the video, one can see the status of the mini forest just 10 months after planting. Yet another testimony to the Miyawaki method of afforestation, which ensures 10 times faster plant growth and 30 times denser plantation with a biodiversity 100 times richer than conventional planting methods.
