The fish tank developed by Dr Padmakumar of RARC has many advantages. One, it is an effective way of cultivating fish in large numbers for consumption; and two, the fish droppings that collect at its bottom can be siphoned off to a Miyawaki vegetable forest nearby. Fish droppings are excellent fertilizers that quicken plant growth.
