In this video, M. R. Hari introduces his neighbour Mr Raghunathan Nadar, an ordinary person whose knowledge of local vegetation and their medicinal properties was of great help in conducting experiments in afforestation at his Puliyarakonam plot. His advice to the viewers is that such people are dependable and authentic sources of information regarding indigenous species of plants in the area where we may wish to put up a Miyawaki forest.
