In this video, M. R. Hari explains how the potting mixture is to be prepared for the seedbed. The mixture should contain soil, dry cow dung, coir pith and rice husk in equal proportions. An examination of the type of soil in the forest site should be done prior to it, and the constituents altered so that the final mixture will provide nutrients to the plants, prevent solidification of soil, and retain water.
