Mr. P.K. Kesavan IFS, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests & Head of Forest Force inaugurated by planting a tree sapling on 14th September 2019

The flood that hit Kerala in 2018 is the prime reason for Crowd Foresting to take effective steps in conserving the ecology of Nedumbassery Airport in Ernakulam. A micro-forest is planted inside the Suvarnodyanam Biological Ecotourism Park near Nedumbassery Airport for the Kerala Forest Department.

This native man-made forest developed using Miyawaki Model of Afforestation is planted using indigenous saplings of more than 50 varieties.

Our team planted the saplings just after the floods in 2019. We are more than happy to take action in protecting the ecology of this place.
